I can't justify them not being first anymore. They've had a comparatively easier schedule than Washington, but they're still dominating each and every week. They deserve to be 1.

They have survived time and time again and under brutal conditions, but at this point, there's only so many excuses for all of these close games. I think it's possible for them to beat Oregon in a neutral field, but highly unlikely.

Oregon is 1 for now. They have shown no holes since losing to Washington while Washington is just scraping by. UW survived a gauntlet but hasn't had a blowout game since Cal. They get the job done and who knows, maybe they could pull an upset against Oregon. They haven't shown that they can't yet. Cal has moved above UCLA because they have shown to be more consistent while Washington State also gets to move up a tier after that solid performance.
