A little sloppy at times in a win over USC, but also moments where Oregon showed that they were clearly the better team on Saturday. Massive pressure on Williams, who had to pull every trick possible to stay alive out there. The game was not as close as the score suggests. Oregon can't sleep this weekend heading into the desert - ASU is waiting.

UW passed a major test against a Utah team that came in fighting. Another big win for the Huskies who continue marching to the CCG and a potential playoff berth. A great 2nd half showing - but the Huskies will need to play a complete game if they want to come out of Corvallis with a win this weekend.

Oregon State obliterated Stanford and reminded everyone that they are among the elite teams in the Pac12, and all of CFB. Still a major player for the CCG, they play UW & Oregon in back-to-back weeks. But they seem up to the challenge. Program defining games face the Beavers in familiar territory - can the defense and run game carry them to victory?

Arizona continues their march in a surprising season, and are now lurking in a position for a CCG berth. They need some help from other players, but they can be happy about 4 straight wins. On the road at Utah this week. Can the Wildcats win another ranked game this season?

Despite the loss, Utah played above what I think many expected on Saturday. A disappointing showing in the 2nd half tarnished an otherwise good effort on the road against one of the nation's top teams. The Utes may be wondering what could have been, but shouldn't be getting caught up with Arizona coming in hot this weekend.

USC showed its weaknesses, and its strengths, on Saturday. The defense looked even worse - to no surprise. The OL could not stop Oregon's front. But Williams man - that boy is special. Stats don't show how slippery and creative he is. Mistakes be damned, when the pressure is on, he finds a way to just...do some BS that you can't be mad about. Anyone doubting his draft potential are kidding themselves.

OH YEAH BABY, CAL WON A GAME!!! It was close, but they still won! I didn't catch most of it with a lot of action going on Saturday, but a good win after a harsh loss. Cal might be able to sneak in bowl eligibilty with games against an awful Stanford team and a mid-UCLA team. Wouldn't that be something.

Wow, UCLA. Come on guys. Losing to ASU at home? I don't think there needs to be a lot said here. I'm disappointed.

A close loss to a ranked Arizona team, can't be too harsh from an outsider's perspective. But damn, it must be rough for Buffs' fans. And sure, people want to give Deion and crew a hard time - and some of it might be justified. But Colorado has been in some close games against good competition, and this is another example. A tough loss, work still needs to be done.

WOOO YEAH BABY. ASU back on the board. I did not see that coming, and the Bruins were definitely caught sleeping Saturday. Now just, don't do anything weird on Saturday, okay?

Wazzu continues to have a tragic season. A brutal loss to Cal has to hurt, making it 6 straight losses. Finishing the season with Colorado and UW - both of which are tough games. Not looking good for the Cougs. Hopefully they haven't run out of booze.

Stanford is bad. Really bad. End of the season isn't looking good with a Cal team looking to fight for bowl eligibility and Notre Dame on the horizon. The misery will be over soon.
